The Kiamichi Owa-Chito Festival of the Forest, held within beautiful Beavers Bend State Park in southeast Oklahoma, is a three-day annual festival devoted to highlighting the beauty, heritage, industry and progress of Kiamichi County. The Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show features turn-of-the-century crafts and demonstrations, folk music, a barnyard petting zoo and more. September 13-October 13, 2013, The Masters at Work Woodturning Competition & Exhibit kicks off with a competitive flair as artists from various woodturning clubs compete in a three-day event for the title of "Master" woodturner. We are the gateway city to Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend Resort Park, the Mountain Fork and Glover Rivers, and the Ouachita National Forest. 19
